Vazerac is a village with a beautiful and imposing 15th century church. An Intermarché, a baker, a post office are at your disposal. The region is rich in quality products: fruit (melons, peaches, nectarines, grapes…) Foie gras, candies… and Wines. Hiking Trails allow you to walk around the village. You can admire a colorful and varied landscape (hillsides, wheat fields, sunflowers, corn, orchards, vineyards, pastures). The “Quercy” is famous for its dovecotes. Our house has one. During your walks you can discover them with different architectures. Vazerac was once astop on theroad to Santiago de Compostela, pilgrims rested in his church before heading to Moissac North of Vazerac, medieval town with its narrow streets, its Saturday morning market, the Valentré Bridge. To the south, Montauban, main town of the department with its museum Ingres and its Place Nationale will allow you to discover marvels. But also Toulouse with the Cité de l’espace, Moissac, Lauzerte, the gorges of Aveyron, Albi, the grotto of Pech Merle, Rocamadour will delight you.
Every day an open-air farmer’s market is held in a different town not far from the campsite and will offer you fruits, wines, meats, cheeses, breads and local specialties… The campsite located in the hollow of a valley, near a pond will allow you to rest away from the daily worries.
